About the Test

The Onconomics test looks at the effectiveness (chemosensitivity) of natural substances, as well as specific anti-cancer drugs and targeted therapies by testing them on the cancer cells from your body. These tests are designed to identify specific anti-cancer drugs that will be most effective by combining molecular and cellular approaches.

Onconomics Plus RGCC is based on three methods: testing for the direct effect of an anti-cancer treatment, stimulating the immune system and inhibiting proliferative signals in the cancer cells that stimulate them to grow.

How it Works

  1. Your doctor will prescribe the Onconomics test.
  2. GMT’s key account manager will get in touch with the patient to schedule the blood extraction needed for the test.
  3. GMT’s medical technologist will personally go to the patient’s location to do the blood draw. The sample will be arranged for transportation to GMT’s international lab.
